Go online or open any magazine and you'll find the latest diet craze... Paleo, Keto, Intermittent Fasting, Vegan - whatever takes your fancy... You pick one. You go all out, throw out everything in your fridge, replace it with everything that diet suggests. You go hard for a few weeks and start to see results - this is amazing!! Right?

...And a few weeks later, your weight loss has a plateau, you go back to your old habits. A few weeks after that and you're looking for another diet to try... Sound familiar?

How many times have you been through this? How many diets have you tried? How many times have you announced to your partner that you're going to try a new diet and they rolled their eyes, and as a result you've told your friends that they're unsupportive...  Well that may not be true exactly - they've just seen the yo-yo before and know what's coming.

So what if I was to let you in on a little secret...

Every one of those diets works if it's done properly!

Yep - that's right! I said it, THEY ALL WORK! SO why didn't you just do the first one you tried and stopped there with your health check...

It may be a combination of the following...
1. You completely transformed your whole world in a day, and you couldn't stick to it.
2. You effectively starved yourself, and ate far less that your daily energy needs, which caused your body to react by gaining weight.
You changed what was on your plate but didn't change your habits to accommodate those changes.
4. You didn't have the support network to put you back on track when you felt down, felt it was too hard, or felt guilty that you indulged for a day...

What if I told you that I can show you how to change your lifestyle, change your habits, and set you up for long term success? The type of success that means you will never need to search online for another diet, and never have your partner roll their eyes at your next diet idea. And the best part... its not a generic plan. I work with you to find what works specifically for you.

What's the catch? You have to make the commitment to yourself to change. You have to put in the work. There is no quick fix, it's a long term investment in your health.

That weight loss you originally saw in the first weeks of overhauling your diet - that was mostly water... And that's a great start to propel your positive momentum, however, you have to commit to a longer time frame to realistically loose weight. It takes time to gain lean muscle and change your metabolism. There's no crazy rush when you commit to transforming your health for once and for all. Small manageable steps at the beginning, followed by progressive change, will make it less overwhelming and easier to stick with.

If you want to gain an insight into how I can help you achieve your health goals, I have detailed my approach in my book Making Healthy Choices for Life, which you can purchase through the link.
